The WA2FNQ I.D. was recorded back in 1972 by Paulette Brinka (then Paulette Barsi) in the WGSM production studio. There was only one I.D.: "This is WA2FNQ East Northport". It was then edited into the additional, shorter versions. After the station moved to Northport in 1989, the I.D.s were edited again dropping the word East. Over the years Paulette could be heard here on Long Island doing news for WGSM/WCTO and WALK.
