History

The Atlantic was completed in 1982. She made her maiden voyage from New York to Bermuda on April 17, 1982. Workers were still on board putting on the last finishing touches during this trip. She cruised from New York to Bermuda during the summer months and the Caribbean from Port Everglades during the winter. In April 1988 she was sold to the Holland America Line. She was then sold to Premier Cruise Line and renamed Starship Atlantic.
