History
The Atlantic was completed in 1982. She made her maiden voyage from New
York to Bermuda on April 17, 1982. Workers were still on board putting on the last finishing
touches during this trip. She cruised from New York to Bermuda during the summer months and
the Caribbean from Port Everglades during the winter. In April 1988 she was sold to the Holland
America Line. She was then sold to Premier Cruise Line and renamed Starship Atlantic.
